In parapsychology, the term clairvoyance is used purely to explain information - in the present time and not really readily accessible to the actual clairvoyant - caused by an external source, instead of telepathy, where information is moved from one mind to a different. In other words, a clairvoyant has the ability to see or perhaps visualise events, items or persons away from capability or selection of physical sight.
Remote viewing, usually a governed, specific process, is really a facet of voyance telephone, as is clairvoyant dreaming. For instance, you might dream about a location they have never seen before and then find it is exactly since they had visualised it in their dream.
This became of me, for example, when I was about to start my own first term at college. As I had never visited the city where the school was located, my pops offered to take myself there in order to find the way in which from the train station towards the college. Having dreamt about it the night just before we went, I used to be able to lead him to the school along the shortest route possible, knowing in which and when to turn. I had been even able to tell him how long it would get us to get presently there.
However, outside of the industry of parapsychology the term is often used to describe other types of paranormal, or anomalous, perception. Most of the time, it is used in relation to its the perception of past (retro cognition) or even future (precognition) events. It is a gift many have got without even realising it. To use another personal expertise as an example (and I usually do not claim to be a email in any way), a few years ago, any friend's daughter went into hospital at the beginning of the evening to have the girl first child. Although with a group of common friends around 10 PM, an individual suggested we should contact the hospital and find out exactly how she was making. As one of them picked up the phone, I announced that a call will be wasted, as she'd have a little boy in early hours of the following morning. We referred to as anyway and were advised she was asleep as the labour experienced slowed. My friend explained to me the next morning in which her grandson was created at 5:30 AM.
Frequently, sources will also refer to the actual perception of images identified during communication with spirits as clairvoyance.
Whatever the case, clairvoyance is a precious gift which can and should be utilized in order to help and also guide others.
